How we test

Sail Ready is run by TODO Author Name. We’re cruisers who got tired of packing lists written by people who never stepped on a ship.

What we check

• Every item packed and used on a real sailing
• Electronics checked against cruise-line prohibited-items lists
• Wear and tear after a week of daily use

Our promises

• We buy the gear we review, or say clearly when a brand sent it.
• Rankings come from use, never from commission rates.
• We tell you who should skip each item.
